BIOMASS
The facility that is located within the boundaries of “Kartallar Aegean Waste Recycling Facility” in Manisa Province, Yunusemre County continues to produce electrical energy by converting domestic waste from Manisa province and its districts into ATY (Waste Derived Fuel) with 18.660 MWm / 18.054 MWe capacity.
BIOGAS
Uzunburun Biogas Energy Production Plant, which is located within the boundaries of “Kartallar Aegean Recycling Energy Production Facility” in Yunusemre District of Manisa Province, provides electrical energy production from methane gas, which is generated from domestic waste provided from Manisa province and its districts, with a capacity of 6,821 MWm / 6,630 MWe.
LOTS AND WASTE COLLECTIONThe total waste Storage Capacity of the Storage Area is 970,078 cubic meters in Lot-1 , 1,240,929 cubic meters in Lot-2, both equals to a total of 2,211,007 cubic meters,on the other hand the construction of third lot with an approximate capacity of 6,000,500 cubic meters consisting of 3,260,000 cubic meters domestic waste and 3,240,000 cubic meters industrial waste is ongoing. Construction of Lot 4 with a capacity of 6 ,000,000 cubic meters is at planning stage.
Mechanical biological sorting facility has an annual capacity of 607,200 tons. Through Mechanical sorting facility each year 66,792 tons of recyclable materials is seperated.
Urban and industrial wastes collected for disposal and recycling within the borders of Manisa Province are sorted at the facility and brought back into the economy.
The wastes brought to the recycling facility are sorted into main groups as metal, plastic, organic waste and RDF waste.
While metal alloy and plastic wastes are sold to the market and recycled, other wastes are used to obtain electrical energy in power generation enterprises established in the integrated facility.
Starting with a daily capacity of 60 cubic meters, with the addition of the new 500 cubic meters runaway water treatment facility which will be commissioned in (250+250) stages the runaway water treatment facility will reach a total capacity of 560 cubic meters. purified water with a total capacity of 560 cubic meters will be transmitted.
