BOARD OF DIRECTIONS
In order to leave a livable world for future generations, we plan and execute our business processes professionally to increase our renewable energy production day by day. In order to make the world we live in a better place, we adapt in the economic, environmental and social areas required by our age. We integrate sustainability into our processes and corporate governance to ensure the regularity of our energy generation activities.
We carry out our sustainability efforts on a continuous basis within the framework of a systematic planning, implementation, monitoring and development cycle. We make the most appropriate and effective decisions thanks to the Executive Board and Sustainability Committee reporting to our Board of Directors.
Hasan KARTAL/ Kartallar Ege Recycling Energy Production Inc. Chairman of the Board of Directors
Hasan Kartal continued his educational journey that started in Rize Hazikli with his high school education at Rize High School and added a new one to his academic achievements by graduating from the Civil Engineering University in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2000 in the field of Surveying Engineering. In 2019, he started his master’s degree in Real Estate Development at Ankara University.
Kartal, who started his professional life by developing his skills with map subcontractors during his high school years, started to work as a map contractor together with a retired map colonel in 1980. Kartal, who drew a constantly growing career graph, formalized his presence in the business world by establishing Has-Kar Map Cadastre Engineering Contracting and Trade LLC in 1985, formalizing his presence in the business world.
In his rapidly growing career, Kartal, who has gained a strong position in the sector with companies such as Kartallar Map and EHK Zoning Construction since 1997, also invested in different fields such as tourism, energy, agriculture and real estate and established Kartallar Holding Inc. In the international arena, he expanded his business area by establishing companies in San Diego and London.
Hasan Kartal, who was also active in the world of sports, held important positions such as the Presidencies of Çaykur Rize Sports and Etimesgut Municipality Sports Club and served as a leader in the Turkish Boxing Federation and Ankara Federation of Amateur Sports Clubs.
Passionate about social good and the education of young people, Kartal contributes to their education and future by providing financial and moral support to young people through the Hasan Kartal Education Foundation. With the foundation management consisting of family members, the foundation acts with a sense of social responsibility and helps young people move forward to a more hopeful and brighter future. Scholarships provide students with the opportunity to continue their education and access future career opportunities.
Hikmet Koray KARTAL/ Kartallar Ege Recycling Energy Production Inc. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors
Hikmet Koray Kartal graduated from Private Yüce Science High School after completing his education in well-established institutions in Ankara, and successfully graduated from Konya Selçuk University Faculty of Engineering in 2001 in the field of Surveying Engineering.
Koray Kartal, who started his professional adventure in the field of cartography after his graduation, stepped into the position of Deputy President in the family company Has-Kar Map Cadastre Engineering Contracting and Trade LLC Company, which is the family company, and started to work as Deputy President and Kartallar Map Zoning Construction Engineering Contracting and Tourism LLC has risen to the Presidency of the company.
As the Deputy President of Kartallar Holding Group Companies, H. Koray Kartal plays a critical role in the management of projects with his technical know-how and leadership skills, leading the company’s development in the areas of strategic planning, business development and team management.
Quickly climbing the career ladder, Koray Kartal has been active in various sectors such as construction, energy, tourism, zoning, agriculture & livestock and real estate, and has assumed important roles in these fields. These positions include leadership positions such as Deputy Chairman of Kartallar Livestock farming Inc. and Deputy Chairman of Kartallar Holding Inc.
In addition to his domestic achievements, H. Koray Kartal is also active in the international arena and has expanded his diversity and vision in the business world by assuming important roles in companies such as Rize Eagles LLC.
Having assumed various leadership roles in the sports and business world, Koray Kartal has held important positions in prestigious organizations such as the Turkish Rugby Federation, Ankara Chamber of Commerce and the Young Business People’s Association of Turkey, contributing to these areas with his experience and knowledge.
In addition, Hikmet Koray Kartal is a valued board member of the Hasan Kartal Education Foundation, with a mission to improve the quality of education, support students in need and provide opportunities for young people. This deep commitment to education is an indication of his sense of social responsibility and commitment to future generations.
Şahin KARTAL/ Kartallar Ege Recycling Energy Production Inc. Vise Chairman of the Board of Directors
After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara, Şahin Kartal took his first big step in his academic and professional life by graduating from Atılım University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering in 2013.
Şahin Kartal, who brought dynamism to his professional career as Vice President at Kartallar Holding, where he started his duty in 2017, has assumed important leadership roles in various corporate structures such as Has-Kar Map Cadastre Engineering Contracting and Trade LLC and Kartallar Ege Recycling Energy Production Inc.
With his management and leadership skills, he pioneered the realization of important projects in the construction sector by leading companies such as EHK Zoning Construction LLC in 2019 and Magzen Energy Investment Construction Inc., which he founded in 2020. He has made a name for himself in the sector with his leadership, project management and technical expertise skills in signature projects such as Teona Ümitköy.
Şahin Kartal, who closely follows the latest developments in the construction sector and integrates these innovations into his own work, has been instrumental in achieving the company’s goals and adopting innovative approaches in the sector. Şahin Kartal, who has successfully applied his knowledge and skills to the business world at every step of his career, has not only contributed to the growth and development of the company, but has also attached importance to social responsibility projects.
Şahin Kartal demonstrated his commitment to youth and education by becoming a board member of the Hasan Kartal Education Foundation, which was established in 2017. Through the foundation, Şahin Kartal contributed to social development by supporting students who have difficulty in accessing education and training opportunities.
